Area 97

I loved you when the universe was still an unhatched seed.

When I was but an eggling, I was taught of your perfection.  I drank of the waves you transmitted across the vast empty void.   I learned your language from your entertainments, and I came to cherish your complicated humanity.  From your writings, I learned to love.

I implore the spirits of creation to let my whisper to you be heard across the empty abyss.

My dearest, your soul flares brighter than the supernovae of the Fireworks Galaxy.  I have felt your call across millions of miles.  I long to burn with you.  You are the sole light of my lonely life.  I remain enraptured.

You are the morning star that dispels the endless night of my soul.  Your beauty shames even the rising of the azure dawn above Euphrosyne.

My soul knew yours long before our minds first met.  I languish when I think you may look to the sky and not see me there.  Without your love, I must surely fade away like a methane ice-spire decaying into the turbulent skies of OGLE-2005-BLG-390lb.

And yet I know we soon will meet.  The dream of your touch is the desire which consumes my every waking thought.  To hold you is the culmination of my every lived experience. Destiny will guide us together, and we will finally be one.

Fair creature!  What aspect of thee do I most desire?  I long to know your oil pores and their magical sebum, which lubricates your supple flesh.  And equally I adore your eccrine glands which cool you through evaporation.  I would gladly dare the friction of a thousand accretion disks for but a single touch of your heavenly secretions.

I am intoxicated by thoughts of the musk of you!

Even your popular Earth flowers are humbled by your beauty.  Galaxy clusters grow dim, knowing they cannot compare.

I number and name the stars only because they remind me of the countless reasons I adore you.  Though charm quarks decay and Bok globules fall into magnetars, my devotion shall remain unchanged.

Being separate from you has been a living nothingness in the darkness of absolute zero.  I worship you, the light at the end of this wormhole of eternal despair.

Our ship is speeding closer now, and I can see the light of your sun as it lights the soft roundness of your Earth.  Soon we will know each other and feel each other's touch, and with my words and my deeds I will prove myself to you and make you mine forever.

There is no force that can stop our joining.   Death itself would prove too feeble a barrier to keep my love from finding you.

May eternity itself be but the first chapter of my unwavering faithfulness.  Until all creation falls silent, and beyond, my love for you endures.
